A picture may be worth a thousand words but it never tells the full story! For example these photos for our Cinco De Mayo celebration at the Zen Zone. On May 5th we hosted an open house for the community to enjoy artwork by our current featured Artist Taylor Cavazos. Everyone enjoyed live music by Andre Carvajal, poetry by local emerging poet TAM, shopped local vendors like Bindu and Valent and Colleen Coughlin from The Full Edit hosted our quarterly Sustainable Style Social clothing swap!
What the photos below don't show are how about an hour before the end of the day, a massive thunderstorm descended upon us soaking everyone and everything in the garden! 😂 Everyone made the best of it, crowding inside and enjoying bevies while chatting.
What the photos don't show are how many pounds of clothes that couldn't be swapped were either donated or hauled off for recycling by Colleen.
